25+ years of experience

Our story began in 2000, when founder Levente Hugo Bara opened his first spice-processing and distribution company in Europe. In 2014, we expanded operations into Indonesia, giving us a strong base near key growth regions while we continued to source spices from around the world. Over the last decade, we have steadily invested in modern equipment, quality control processes, and a team of trained experts, all to deliver the finest spices to customers around the world.

In 2030, Matahari Spice will be a leading spice distributor in US and Canada by combining over 25 years of processing know-how with a dynamic management system and high respect for Indonesian culture - we provide sustainable and traceable fairtrade practices - from the communities of farmers in Indonesia to our clients worldwide.
